Author: Greg KemnitzCo-Founder, wirekite.io
Date: 2025-10-15
Time: TBD
Duration: 40 minutes

Many “cloud” database products store data in storage systems like Amazon S3. Such storage is quite different from traditional disk or solid-state storage, and users interacting with such engines need to approach them differently than traditional OLTP-optimized databases. Greg’s talk will cover these storage differences, and finish with approaches users can take to efficiently managing data stored in these engines.
